Chapter Three Consulting
- ISO 9001:2015
- Fully compliant to their legal obligations
- Drove down costs and boosted profits
- Won more business
“ISO 9001 has helped us drive out unnecessary costs in our business, thus making us more profitable and able to re-invest in new growth initiatives instead.”
Legal and regulatory requirements are very important to C3C. As a compliance auditing business, it is vital they themselves ensure they are adhering to the latest legislation.
“It was essential to become ISO certified to ensure that we ourselves are compliant to our own legal and regulatory requirements.”
As well as the legal side of things, C3C wanted to ensure that their customers were receiving the very highest level of service. C3C knew they wanted to align themselves with best practice in these regards.
“Being in the service industry, customer service is essential for us. We wanted ours to be the best.”
Once a need for ISO 9001 certification was established, C3C had to choose a certification body.
“We found the reputation of The British Assessment Bureau to be second to none. We were further encouraged to choose them for their professional, friendly communication and direct access to their customer support team.”
An initial visit – known as a Stage 1 audit – was conducted at C3C’s offices by the British Assessment Bureau (BAB). This gave C3C a roadmap by showing any gaps between their existing set up and ISO 9001’s requirements. Once ready, they were then revisited for the more formal Stage 2 audit in order to achieve certification. Having full time auditors, rather than freelance, allows BAB to deliver a higher level of service.
“We were fully supported throughout the implementation process and we really appreciate the level of support provided to us.”
C3C are now fully compliant to the ISO 9001 standard. ISO 9001 has many benefits. As well as boosting a company’s reputation and building instant trust, internal processes are smoother and more efficient.
A key reason companies sign up to ISO 9001 is to win more business. Many tenders require the UKAS accredited ISO 9001 standard to bid in the first place.
“We are now winning more business and therefore have the opportunity to satisfy more customers.”
