Following a rigorous audit process, the British Assessment Bureau (BAB) is now UKAS accredited for the OHSAS 18001 standard, in a number of industry sectors. The news follows BAB’s recent extensions to their Accreditation Schedule for the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 standards.
In order to gain UKAS accreditation for OHSAS 18001, BAB had to demonstrate competence across a wide range of business sectors, from Construction to Hotels & Restaurants.
For BAB’s clients, UKAS accreditation gives assurance that BAB’s systems and auditors meet the highest standards. With UKAS accreditation behind it, certification from BAB also represents the highest level of credibility in the marketplace.
Head of Certification Services at BAB, Keith Goddard, commented on the grant of accreditation from UKAS,
“Our compliance team, together with UKAS, have worked tirelessly to ensure we could achieve the maximum in the last twelve months. I’m delighted that we have made significant steps in enhancing our UKAS Accreditation Schedule in such a short space of time. This puts us in a very strong position going into 2015 and with further extensions to our Accreditation Schedule in the pipeline, we will be able to offer our clients a comprehensive range of certification options to suit their needs.”
BAB’s OHSAS 18001 Accreditation Schedule can now be viewed on the UKAS website. Alternatively, call our award-winning customer services team free on 0800 404 7007 for more information.
