We are delighted to announce that we have achieved Investors in People Gold status, following an audit in June.
With 2014 marking our 15th year of holding Investors in People accreditation, we were keen to benchmark ourselves against the Gold standard, which involves meeting an additional 102 evidence requirements beyond the 39 core requirements.
The standard relates to business improvement through people, reviewing the culture, engagement, leadership and performance measurement of an organisation. Only 7% of recognised Investors in People have achieved Gold status.
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, commented on the news;
“We’d like to congratulate the British Assessment Bureau on their Gold standard. Such a high level of accreditation is the sign of great people management practice, demonstrates a commitment to staff development, and shows an organisation committed to being the very best it can be. The British Assessment Bureau should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
This accreditation follows other achievements during 2014, which included achieving accreditation to the Customer Service Excellence standard on top of consistently high ratings revealed in our annual Client Satisfaction Survey.
David Fenn, our Chief Executive expressed his delight, saying;
“We can’t deliver great service without great people. Achieving Investors in People Gold and Customer Service Excellence in quick succession just shows you what a great culture we have here. I am immensely proud of my team; undoubtedly we are doing all we can do to show that we are the most customer-focused Certification Body.”
Not ones to rest on our laurels, we are looking to inspire other organisations by becoming Investors in People Champions. Moreover, we are also establishing goals in order to demonstrate commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
