ISO Consultancy in Summary

  • Whilst not compulsory, you may require a little extra expert help
  • We’ve written a guide to help you select a consultant
  • Open and in-house training courses are available to help you

To fulfil our role as a UKAS Accredited Certification Body, we must remain impartial to make sure that the certificates we issue are credible.

It’s our job to make the process as straightforward and rewarding as possible and we can help with training courses, templates, checklists and guides. Our UKAS accreditation proves we have expert knowledge across a wide range of industries, so you benefit from best practice advice.

If you feel you require more hands-on help, a consultant can help provide the skills and resource to help implement and manage your ISO management system. To assist, we have a list of consultants which we can provide to you. However, we are not allowed to recommend a particular consultant. Read on for our tips on choosing the best consultant for your organisation.

ISO Consultancy in Summary

Process Process

WHICHEVER STANDARD YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE, OUR AWARD WINNING TEAM CAN HELP YOU, JUST LIKE WE’VE HELPED THOUSANDS OF ORGANISATIONS ALREADY.

STEP 1 – PREPARATION

The first step is to raise awareness in your organisation and this is where you might find a ISO consultant useful. They’ll help you convey the what, why, when and how of ISO certification and its benefits.

STEP 2 – CONSULTANCY DECISION

Most of our clients achieve certification without a consultant, but if you are working to a deadline then engaging a hands-on consultant will get your management system up and running.

STEP 3 – FIRST ASSESSMENT

The first Assessor visit is to help you know exactly what you need to do to achieve certification. If you have contracted a consultant then you won’t have much to do during the process.

STEP 4 – SECOND ASSESSMENT

Once you’re ready, we’ll carry out your formal Stage 2 Assessment. When the compliance team have reviewed the report, we’ll confirm your certification and send your ISO certificate and logos.

Costs Costs

BEFORE ENGAGING YOUR CONSULTANT, IT’S IMPERATIVE THAT YOU AGREE COSTS AND PAYMENT TERMS.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

That depends on what you need! Most consultants will visit, free of charge, to assess what you require to meet the standard and provide you with a written quote. Be prepared for consultancy to cost more than the cost of certification.

WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO BUDGET FOR?

The only fee you have to pay is the certification fee and we always quote a Guaranteed Fixed Fee, with a Price Match Promise. There’s no long-term contract and to smooth budgeting; we provide 3 interest free payments. Consultants and training fess are optional.
