CMS SupaTrak successfully achieves five ISO certifications

- ISO 27001
- ISO 45001
- ISO 9001
CMS SupaTrak specialises in helping their customers reduce their fuel costs, emissions, and carbon footprint through effective driver behaviour management. They do this via their telematics hardware solutions that are designed and manufactured in-house.
Recognising the value that their customers place on independent certification of their systems and processes, CMS SupaTrak turned to us.

The challenges facing CMS SupaTrak
In CMS SupaTrak’s industry technology is constantly evolving, presenting both opportunities and challenges for those involved. To leverage these opportunities and mitigate any risks, CMS SupaTrak had implemented robust systems and processes, but wanted to achieve third-party certification to validate their effectiveness and compliance with recognised standards, including ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 27001 (Information Security), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety Management).
Quality and Commercial Director, John Lancaster, had worked with British Assessment Bureau whilst at a previous company and was therefore aware of the process for achieving the required certifications.
What was the journey like for CMS SupaTrak?
John’s familiarity with the certification process and British Assessment Bureau’s ways of working meant that he was confident in CMS SupaTrak’s ability to achieve their certification goals.
“Throughout the audit process, we were overwhelmed with the service and support that both the Auditor and Account Manager offered, making themselves available at short notice throughout the day for any queries to be answered.
Thanks to this support and a robust assessment process we were able to achieve certification to four different ISO standards in one fell swoop.”

How ISO certification has helped to improve business for CMS SupaTrak
CMS SupaTrak’s 25 years of experience gave them confidence in their product and service offerings, however, they felt that the credibility offered by third-party, independent certification, would enable them to attract bigger clients. They now confidently state that “no job is too large for us now.”
Reflecting on the achievement, John commented “Achieving all four of the ISO certifications we set out to, as well as the Cyber Essentials certificate, demonstrates to everyone that CMS SupaTrak has been built on solid foundations, with established and well-recognised practices and procedures. In today’s current economic climate, this will give our customers and potential customers confidence in doing business with us.’
